Daniel Thompson - Founder
Welcome! I’m Daniel Thompson, the Founder of DT Electrical Contractors, based in the heart of Penzance, West Cornwall. My journey in the electrical installation industry began in my childhood, deeply rooted in a fascination with wiring and circuitry. Growing up with a father in the construction industry, I developed an early understanding and passion for building and electrical systems.
From a young age, I would tinker with fuse boards and dream of becoming an electrician. In 1998, this dream began to materialize when I started my professional career as an apprentice electrician. By 2001, I had successfully completed my apprenticeship, gaining invaluable skills and experience in electrical installation and safety.
In 2005, driven by my expertise, passion, and relentless ambition for growth and development, I founded DT Electrical Contractors. The demand for our services quickly grew, and by 2007, due to both the volume of work and the trust our clients placed in us, I expanded my team to manage the increasing workload efficiently.
As a proud local of West Cornwall, I have a deep love for this community and take great pride in contributing to its development through my work. Each project we undertake, from simple fuse board upgrades to complex electrical installations, reflects my commitment to quality, attention to detail, and aesthetic excellence. I also derive great satisfaction from helping local residents, ensuring they have safe and reliable electrical systems.

Adrian - Office Manager
As the Office Manager at DT Electrical Contractors, Adrian plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and compliance of the company’s operations. Based in Penzance, West Cornwall, he is responsible for overseeing all office management functions, ensuring that projects run smoothly and adhere to all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
Adrian ensures that DT Electrical Contractors complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, keeping all projects in line with current legislation.
